Need to fix light patches/missing images on a Lexmark XC 9235 or Lexmark XC 9255? Follow these steps below:
Step One: Open front door using the latches on the left and right side of the machine
Step Two: Remove the waste toner bottle by removing the latch on each side
Step Three: In the front cover you’ll see a grey cleaning device, pull it out towards the right
Step Four: Above each sticker you’ll find a little hole on angle, you need to put the cleaner in there and insert it in and out three times for each colour
Step Five: When finished, slide the cleaning device back into position and lock into place
Step Six: Get your waste toner bottle and insert back into place using the side latches
Step Seven: Close your cover and run a test print/copy to make sure everything is running smoothly. If still issues then give us a call!

“Hi guys, in this video we’re going to show you how to clean the laser glass. You might wanna do this when you get light lines down your prints. First of all you need to open the front door, it’s a handle on the left and on the right, open the front door. You need to remove the waste toner bottle, so undo this latch, then that one, pull the waste toner bottle out all the way, in the front cover you’ll see a grey cleaning device, pull it out towards the right. Above each sticker you’ll see a little hole on an angle, you need to put the cleaner in there, it is quite tight, in out, in out, three times for each colour. So there’s four all up, yellow magenta and cyan, and the black. When you finish, slide it back into position, lock it into place, get your waste toner bottle, there’s this latch first and that latch and close your cover.
